How the VFX Series works
A VFX fountain throws a low, wide V shaped spray from one fixed nozzle. Because the water stays low and spreads wide, a lot of it touches the air, so the VFX suits ponds where circulation and oxygen matter more than a tall display.
Every unit ships with a float, a bottom screen, mooring lines and a control panel with GFCI protection. Kasco recommends the 1/2 HP for about 1/4 acre and the 5 HP for about 2.5 acres; we confirm the size and placement for your pond’s depth, shape and power supply. Moving surface water also discourages mosquitoes and floating plants.
Most fountains should come out of the water before freeze up unless the manufacturer rates them for winter use.
