LakeSeries for larger ponds and lakes
The LS80 and LS120 run two rocking piston compressors from one powder coated aluminum cabinet, feeding 4 to 12 ProAir 4 diffusers for ponds and lakes up to 12 acres and 50 ft deep. Coverage grows with depth, as the size table shows.
Airline is sized to your layout and priced separately. We size each system and lay out the diffusers for your lake.
Circulating oxygen rich water to every layer
Fine bubbles rise from diffusers on the bottom and set up an upward flow that circulates the water, carrying oxygen rich surface water down into deeper, oxygen depleted layers. Oxygen at depth reduces nutrient release from sediments and helps hold back harmful algae blooms. Oxygen rich conditions also help the natural bacteria in your pond break down organic sediment faster.
A healthier pond bottom in summer, safer fish in winter
In summer, carrying oxygen rich water to the bottom reduces the risk of anoxic conditions there and helps reduce muck.
In winter, the rising bubbles keep a patch of ice open above the diffusers so harmful gases can escape, which lowers the risk of winter fish kills.
