Questions

Program details

Who qualifies?

New clients who sign an annual lake and pond management proposal with Living Waters Environmental.

When do I pay for the assessment?

The assessment is invoiced when it is complete and due within 30 days. Sign your annual proposal within 90 days of receiving your report and your assessment discount is subtracted from the total annual price and spread across your monthly payments.

Do I have to decide before the assessment?

No. We complete the assessment and review the results with you first, then you decide on an annual management program.

What if I do not sign an annual proposal?

You keep your full assessment report and results. The discount only applies when an annual proposal is signed.

I have more than one pond. Is each one covered?

Each waterbody gets its own assessment and its own discount based on its size.

Existing clients can save too

The fine print

Program terms and conditions

Last updated October 16, 2026. By booking an assessment under the New Client Program, the client agrees to these terms.

1. Program overview
  1. The New Client Program (the “Program”) lets a new client apply the cost of a Living Waters Environmental (“LWE”) lake assessment toward an annual lake and pond management agreement.
  2. The client pays for the assessment at the standard rate. When the client signs an eligible annual management proposal, the discount described in Section 4 is subtracted from the proposal total.
  3. These Program terms supplement LWE’s standard Terms and Conditions. If the two conflict, these Program terms control for the Program discount only.
2. Eligibility
  1. The Program is open to new clients only. A new client is a person or organization that has not had a paid management agreement with LWE in the past 12 months. Existing clients may qualify for a separate offer described in Section 9.
  2. The waterbody must be within LWE’s service area in Idaho, Oregon or western Wyoming.
  3. The client must own the waterbody or be authorized in writing to contract for its management.
  4. The Program applies to one assessment per waterbody. A waterbody that has already received a Program discount is not eligible again.
  5. LWE may decline enrollment for a waterbody it cannot safely access or reasonably manage.
3. Assessment fees and payment
  1. The assessment is billed at LWE’s standard rate for the assessment level and lake size quoted.
  2. Payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date.
  3. The assessment must be paid in full before any Program discount can be applied.
  4. The client receives the full assessment report and review meeting whether or not they sign an annual management agreement. Signing is never required to receive results.
4. Discount amounts

The discount is a share of the assessment fee the client paid, based on the waterbody’s surface area and the assessment level.

AssessmentLakes 50 acres or smallerLakes over 50 acres
Basic Assessment100% (no charge after credit)Up to 50%
Comprehensive AssessmentUp to 50%Up to 25%
  1. Surface area is the area measured in LWE’s lake mapping survey for that assessment.
  2. Where the table says “up to”, the exact percentage is set by LWE and stated in the annual management proposal.
  3. The discount never exceeds the assessment fee actually paid.
5. How the discount is applied
  1. The discount is subtracted from the total of the client’s first annual lake and pond management proposal for the same waterbody.
  2. The proposal must be signed within 90 days after LWE delivers the assessment report. After that, the discount expires.
  3. The discount is subtracted from the total annual price of the agreement and spread evenly across the monthly payments for the first year.
  4. The discount has no cash value. It is not refundable, not transferable to another person or waterbody, and cannot be combined with other offers unless LWE agrees in writing.
  5. If the discount is larger than the first year’s proposal total, the unused amount is forfeited.
6. Annual management agreement
  1. An eligible agreement is a signed annual lake and pond management agreement with a term of at least 12 months.
  2. If the client cancels the agreement, or it is ended for nonpayment, before the end of the first 12 months, the full discount becomes due and is added to the final invoice.
  3. If LWE ends the agreement for reasons other than the client’s breach, the client keeps the discount.
  4. The discount applies to the first year only. Renewals are billed at the rates in the renewal proposal.
7. Multiple waterbodies, results and access
  1. Each waterbody is assessed and discounted separately, based on its own size and assessment level. A discount for one waterbody cannot be applied to another.
  2. The client owns the assessment report and may use it for any purpose. LWE may use the data without identifying the client or the property.
  3. Assessment findings are a snapshot of conditions on the survey date. They do not guarantee future water quality or treatment results.
  4. The client provides safe access to the shoreline and a boat launch point, and notice of any restrictions, permits or hazards.
  5. LWE schedules field work around weather, water levels and seasonal conditions. Reasonable rescheduling does not affect eligibility or the signing window in Section 5.
8. Program changes and general terms
  1. LWE may change or end the Program at any time. Changes do not affect an assessment already scheduled or a discount already earned under the terms in place when the assessment was booked.
  2. The discount amount and terms that apply are the ones written in the client’s assessment quote and annual management proposal.
  3. All other terms, including liability, insurance, payment and dispute terms, follow LWE’s standard Terms and Conditions, which apply in every state LWE serves.
  4. Questions about the Program: Idaho / Wyoming (208) 501-4531, Oregon (541) 280-0596.
9. Existing clients
  1. Clients who have had a paid management agreement with LWE in the past 12 months may be able to apply Program savings toward their next year of management. Eligibility and amounts are set case by case. Contact LWE for details.
